We’re excited to share our new school vision: BCS – Belong. Grow. Achieve. These three words capture what we want for every student who walks through our doors:

To feel a true sense of belonging—like this is their school, their safe place.

To grow—through challenges, encouragement, and those “aha!” learning moments.

And to achieve—because success looks different for everyone, and we believe it’s possible for ALL.

Along with our vision, we have a beautiful new school logo (you can see the new logo (pictured above).  The new logo reflects the unique mix of urban and rural families that make up our community, while also honouring Indigenous culture and knowledge. We’re proud of how it tells the story of who we are at BCS and who we’re striving to be. Here is the logo concept description:

BELONG. A group of trees representing belonging through their collective strength, shared support and deep-rooted connections through school community. Green tone to tie to BCS school color. Pale green rolling fields nestled among the trees to connect to SK agriculture/rural families.

GROW. Growing through culture and education. Nod to indigenous culture, through tipi shape Triangular growth with a strong base, to the tip of a pencil to tie to education/knowledge. Color of pale blue/green tones also represent the sky.

ACHIEVE. Sun rays representing energy, triumph and success. The warm golden tone radiates inspiration and joy.

We are very proud of this new logo and what it represents for our collective vision for our students and school community.
